Today we won 3-2, but it dosn't count so just for fun.

Our Conference Standing

Yesterday We played Dundee-Crown, we won 16 to something. I played 3rd base, during my first at bate with count 2 balls 0 strikes; I bunted well. During warm up I got to hit 20 balls because there we have an odd number of players. During my second at bat I hit the ball in to left field; it was over the short stops head. During the sixth inning I was told to fake bunt and pull back, and do not swing for second pitch so Rachel could get to third. I only ended up faking bunt because they over throw the ball, and Rachel scored. I also caught a line drive and throw it to first. Today we played Cary-Grove I got out at third; I placed my mitt right in the dirt. During that inning I also got an out at first. In second inning I got an out for line drive right to my mitt. I also got an out from catching the ball and throwing to first. Later in the game I got another ball and went right to first. I also went to get ball that was probably short stops ball and sailed it to first. Our conference standing is 2 wins, 0 lost. In addition to all that I also got to hit twenty balls today because I'm awesome like that.

New Book

Today North of Montana arrived in the mail. I entered a giveaway and won so I got the first Ana Grey mystery. Chelsea leave a comment telling me how much more is left in the book you are reading? Today we only had meeting for softball, no practice.  

2nd Place

Today we played Crystal Lake Central High School, the final score was 14-10. Tomorrow we play a three game tournament, so that will be good time. To make tournament better we are going to go out to eat and get some good food.

Another Win!

Today we played Johnsburg High School, the final score was 17-14. I caught another pop up today.

Short End of the Stick

Today we played Grayslake Community High School. The final score was 16-14. We lost but I hit some nice hits. The first pitch when I was up to bat was high and i liked, so I trusted my hands. In the next ining I also hit the ball and was safe. At the start of the game two outs, the ball comes right to me. I field it and step on first. Tomorrow we are away, so I hope the girls remember to stay positive and start catching balls. Another highlight fly ball closer to the pitchers mond I field it and you are out. Could I be any less pleased with my self?

Found My Purse

Today at the start of 7th period, Mrs. Beard asked me, "If I lost a purse?" I replied yes. Anyway today She gave me my purse back . I guess Mr. Fuller found it and thought she would see me first. Good to find what was lost.

2nd Win

Today we played Belvidere North the final score was 16 to 5. My first time up to bat I hit the ball I was told it landed perfectly on the line. I was more fun being on winning team and have the upper hand. I played first base, I have a nice bruise from last game right in the front of my leg it's great.

Laughter Lives

This post is part of "Laughter Lives! Tuesday" on the Riggs Family Blog. Check our their blog to read everyone else's "Laughter Lives!" posts. One of the girls on my softball team was talking to her mother about picking her up. Her mother replied "I'm not driving to Belvidere to pick you up. " She final got that her daughter would need a ride home, but it sure was funny. On the bus another girl was saying how cold kate wearing short sleves in windy weather made her feel. I replied, "Yeah I tryed not to look."  

Book Update

Today I finished the book Dosn't she look natural. Thomas died after she asked him to stay and he left. Jennifer's mother went back home. Jennifer signed the children up for school and thinks they are happy about meeting new friends. Jennifer will go to mortuary program and in the mean time will assest Gerald with prepairing bodies. I also started reading Bergdorf Blondes.

Here I am after playing game on Friday.
